Had I been able to choose no stars, I would have gone with that!I know that it is not a popular point of view these days, but I am not a feminist. I used to work full time outside of the home. But now I am home full time. I'm am proud to be a wife and partner to my husband and I enjoy taking care of him and our home. I also love and do my best to follow Jesus and live by what he teaches. I'm sharing this because ON PAPER it would seem that I would be on the same wavelength as this author and agree with his point of view. However, NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!!!!! I grew more upset and angry with each page I read.
For me, some of his most inflammatory points were that "Christians" shouldn't be around non-Christians. That is the complete antithesis of what Jesus says to do.
And he goes on and on and on about women's looks. He says that women have to be attractive inside and out if they want to please their husband. And that all men have wandering eyes if they see a gorgeous woman. What made me most irate is when he addressed what women should do if they were born with physical deformities or disabilities. The author has the audacity to suggest that their only hope is to pray for God's mercy!!! I mean are you freaking kidding me??!!!??

I got the point the author was trying to put across but it was clear that it could have been better communicated. The services of an established publisher and editors would have helped.
Another observation is that in some portions, the author was almost apologetic of his views; if they are based on and driven by the word of God genuinely, why sound apologetic?
I did not find this short e book helpful. Too fundamental, no depth or real meat to back up the title, in my opinion. As a young married woman, these principals are basic and obvious but perhaps it's because I've been a Christian most of my life.
Frank and true to Scripture. Mutual understanding of God's design for males and females to mutually satisfy each other in marriage. What a revelation that God created sex!!!! What was he thinking? Thank you for all the good gifts you have given. You are a good, good Father.
Great read and view from a man... it's not piggish, it's honest and as a Christian woman, I really appreciate the BLUNTNESS of his text. I want to provide everything my husband finds sexy and vice versa. I expect him to be sexy for me and it's fine...this is the flip side if the coin.
Love the no nonsense, biblical approach to a "taboo" topic which should be as easy to discuss as the every day events all around us. Hopefully married couples will learn from this, and apply the lessons, so they can more fully enjoy their marriage, and their sex!
Thank you for speaking the truth in love! As you so well put it, sexual intimacy is not only "allowed" in marriage, it is "required" in marriage. The only thing I would critique you on is that so many Christian pastors/counselors emphasize to a godly wife that she needs to please her husband sexually. While true, what my wife and I heard from this kind of teaching over our 30 years (and counting) of marriage is that sex is more important for the husband than for the wife and a godly wife will "sacrifice" for her husband by providing for his sexual needs. I think this is imbalanced. A wife needs sex just as much as the husband does, but because of many factors, Christian woman have been taught (explicitly or implicitly) that sex is more for men than women. A godly wife will learn to appreciate and desire sex just as much as her spouse.
