This was a really good book! I had not previously read anything by this author and I was really surprised how well I liked it. Two couples practicing a DD relationship and a mystery thrown in, had me reading this book straight through. The humor in this book had so many laugh out loud moments....loved it! Lots of spankings, caring friendship and the couples really loved each other! I will definitely read this book again and check out Shelly Douglas's other books. 5 big stars
This writer really writes a good mystery along with intertwining hot sex. If you like both then this is a terrific read.
Normally, I love this author's books but I feel that this one is not as good as others she's written. Frankly, it was a bit boring. It felt as if the characters were just playing around with DD and AP. A little spanking here and there is more like a slap and tickle. There is a lot of possibilities with these characters but I found they were more vanilla than anything.

Not a bad story. This book is actually about two couples and both are into domestic discipline. There is also a bit of suspense and mystery woven into the story. All in all, not a bad read.

I enjoyed this book! The story is about two couples, who are friends, and their journey into a DD relationship. But there is a very good mystery that kept me turning the pages until the end! The romance and relationship between the two couples are different but both are worth the journey. The mystery is icing on the cake! Read and enjoy, I certainly did. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.
This novel has domestic discipline so spankings happen. Smexy times for one of the couples throughout the book. This book also has a mystery woven through, and it's very well done. I figured it out before the author actually revealed it, but I think the author left that many clues on purpose. There is a 'secondary' couple in the story, and the two couples, the mystery, and the sex all blend nicely. I do think it's super cute (and not over the top) how the author has the female characters in the story enamored with a certain genre which their men pay some amount of attention to.
While the writing wasn't bad, there were some odd things that left me puzzled while reading. The author would throw in details and I thought maybe they were supposed to matter, so I'd pay attention and then find myself wondering when that detail would come into play in the story. This happened multiple times, from the very beginning comment of "they were all divorced" and forward from that point. Maybe the author was trying to lay the background for future sequels.
